Why is Chile popular right now?

Aftershocks/earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 were reported on March 11. There was a 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile on the morning of Feb. 27th. The epicenter was some 70 miles from Concepcion, Chile's second-largest city.
